OUR PROGRAMME FOCUS AREA

Fighting Gender-Based Violence

Through Community-dialogue, storytelling and activism, we are championing a multidimensional fight against gender-based violence. We are working to inspire more passionate and responsive reactions and attitudes towards gender-based violence survivors, while we encourage recovery and create awareness through inclusive tools such as storytelling and activism.

Education and Health

Our girl child initiative emphasize the importance of girls' education. We work to ensure that girls have equal access to quality schooling, address gender disparities in education, and provide support to keep girls in school, including scholarships and mentorship programs.

WOMEN & GIRL’s Economic Empowerment & Development

What better way to empower women than to equip them with the skills and knowledge that would help them exploit the opportunities we seek to create for them. This program is geared towards the economic empowerment and financial liberation of women through skills acquisition programs and financially inclusive programs such as creation of savings groups and provision of microfinance grants.

We don't only focus on the above programs , we also add voice to the following initiatives in the areas where we work from

  1. Education: Ensuring access to quality education for girls, addressing gender disparities in education, and promoting programs to keep girls in school.

  2. Health and Nutrition: Providing healthcare services, nutrition support, and hygiene education to girls, with a focus on their well-being and development.

  3. Empowerment: Offering programs to build girls’ self-esteem, confidence, and leadership skills.

  4. Awareness and Advocacy: Raising awareness about the challenges girls face and advocating for their rights and opportunities.

  5. Economic Empowerment: Promoting skills training and economic opportunities for girls and young women to help them become financially independent.

  6. Protection and Safety: Ensuring the safety and protection of girls from violence, exploitation, and harmful practices.

  7. Mentorship and Role Models: Providing mentorship programs and connecting girls with positive role models to inspire and guide them.

  8. Community Engagement: Involving the community in supporting and advocating for girls’ rights and well-being.

  9. Research and Data: Collecting and analyzing data to understand the specific needs and challenges faced by girls in your target area.

  10. Partnerships: Collaborating with other organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders to amplify the impact of your initiative.
